Golden Circle

Recommended pickup time is from 8:00 to 11:00 for those who are staying in the capital area or Reykjanes peninsula

Our frst stop on the tour is Thingvellir, National Park. Where you’ll get the chance to walk around the area, which is known for it’s rare and magnifcent and rift valley where the Eurasian and the North American tectonic plates have sundered the landscape as they drift apart. Thingvellir is also the home of the world’s frst parliament, established by Viking settlers in the year 930, and it continued to serve as the place of meeting until the year 1798. Next we head over to Geysir the geothermal feld in Haukadalur to see the the numerous fumaroles, hot springs and geysers in the area. Pay close attention to the geyser Strokkur, it erupts every 5-10 minutes! Next it is the magnifcent sight of Gullfoss. One of the largest and most powerful waterfalls in Iceland; a true force of nature. It is simply an amazing experience to get to see all of that power fall deep into the gorge that has been carved by the Hvítá glacial river. The last but not least is Faxi waterfall, Faxi is located in the river Tungufljót, approximately 7 km from the town Reykholt.

Duration is about 6,5 hours.

South Coast

Recommended time for pickup is at 8:00 for those who stays in the capital area and Reykjanes peninsula.

The first stop will be at Seljalandsfoss where you will have the opportunity to walk behind one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Iceland. Our second stop will be at the magnifcent 60 metre high (197ft) waterfall, Skógafoss. Where Beyoncé and Jay-Z landed their helicopter to witness the beauty and raw power of this waterfall. Our third stop is at Dyrhólaey and Reynisfjara. There you’ll get to experience a unique landscape; not only has the harsh North Atlantic ocean managed to carve its mark on the area but the long stretch of the black volcanic coastline and the stunning basalt and caves will leave you mesmerized. Lastly, we will be heading to the small village of Vík í Mýrdal. There, you can explore the village and the surrounding area. Do a little bit of shopping or simply sit down, relax and dine at a local restaurant before we head back after an eventful day.

Reykjanes Peninsula

Recommended time for pickup is between 9:00 and 11:00 for those who stays in the capital area and Reykjanes peninsula.

Our first visit on the tour around Reykjanes peninsula will be Grindavík witch is one of the Iceland’s fishing villages. From Grindavík we will drive to west along southern coast of the peninsula and head to Gunnuhver, where you will see active geothermal areas. Next we will see one of Iceland’s oldest lighthouse, Reykjanesviti where we can enjoy spectacular ocean view and if we are lucky we will be able to see the island of Eldey which is located about 10 miles (16 km) from the shore. Next, the tour will leads us to The Bridge Betweem Continents, where the Eurasian and North America tectonic plates are drifting apart. Next we will drive by the town Hafnir and head for the fishing village Sandgerði, from Sandgerði we will go to Garður, where we will stop by the lighthouse Garðskagaviti before we head back to where we started.

It’s also optional to finish the tour at the Blue Lagoon.

On this tour we will drive by several museum, if you are interested we can stop at them as long as the total time of the tour will not exceed 5 hours (Total driving time is about 2,5 hours if started in Reykjavík).
